noticed on the tv this evening that the inspirational scottish singer lulu has released a cholestrol challenged new album i am sure that everybody will be rushing out to buy one...

she does seem to have been following a theme though after live8 a number of singers and bands have been able to release or promote a new record - McCartney, Craig David, Coldplay (don't get me wrong i am a fan!) Joss Stone, Ms Dynamite have all released records since the gig the only one not to it seems has made the most money out of it and they (Pink Floyd) have given it back to the people who it was meant for.
The Scissor Sisters were (i think) the only band to actually promote a new song on the day but i have not heard it on the radio since...
