Watchet on a bank holiday monday

a visit to Watchet is a small Somerset coastal town with a harbour and a new(ish) marina, after a walk at Great Wood which had a fabled ice cream van at the top car park unfortunately for kerry, julian, isaac, alex, harvey myself and nina (who had told us of this tall tale!) it was not there.
So a small detour to Watchet and with the thought of a Mr Whippy in our hearts we arrived and found two pubs (i am sure that they were not alone) a couple of fish and chip shops and you guessed it not a single ice cream parlour in sight :(
we did not arrive late, in fact it was before 6 and i was really, really surprised not to find anything apart from the co-op and pubs open it was fast food heaven,

oh well. we will try again another day
